The next day, Hayah, the Waziri, the Chiroma, and more than a dozen servants; amongst them were musicians, and town criers, and announcers. They set out on a journey to Ndokula to seek the hand of Fantah in marriage. They took along with them gifts and items that would be talked about for generations to come; both in Maroua and Ndokula. As they went, people couldn’t help but stop and stare in wonder.
